Now you can get a quote for your replacement windows and doors before and instead of having a salesperson visit. But, if you prefer you can always arrange a home visit if you would rather someone else do the measuring and advised you in person of the choices you have. Either way you are in control and unlike ‘normal’ double glazing companies we will just give you advice, a quote and then leave you to decide. No pressure, no faff just straight forward honest advise.

Want to fit them yourself but want someone to measure them up properly? No problem, when your itemised quote comes back you will see what has been allowed for installation, either select it or choose DIY installation but add a survey from your quote and we will come out and measure up for you.
Need all the installation sundries? Pick the sundries from the quote and we will make sure you have everything you need to install the products as if we were doing it ourselves.
Don’t have the tools to fit them? No problem, just select ‘hire a tool kit’ from the quote and we will send a fully working tool kit so you have everything to hand on hire for the probable duration of the installation, all we ask is you pay a security deposit which will be returned when the tool kit is returned.

The first step is to generate a quote, there is a form a little bit further down the page, but before you go to the form here’s a great way to make it super easy.
Go to each window and take a picture of your current window. Then measure the width side to side and then the height, measure from the window cill at the bottom to the very top of the window frame.
When you have photographed them and measured them from the inside, go and take an overall shot of the windows from the outside, the outside shot is to see what they are installed into so one shot for the rear, one for the front and any side windows will suffice. Now you should have each window measured, a photo of the inside of the window and some general shots of the outside.
Simple Guide To Measuring Windows and Doors, don’t stress on exact measurements you have a little bit of tolerance to play with. All we ask is you get it within a centimeter or two.
1. Height – Measure from the window cill, to the top of the frame.
2. Width – Measure the total width from side to side, plaster to plaster is fine.
That’s it, you have measured your windows.
If you have any bay or bow windows that you would like a quote for just measure how far out the window protrudes from the wall and add it to the window notes on the form and we’ll work it out for you.
When your quote comes back it will be fully itemised as follows.
- Windows – Fully priced including delivery.
- Doors (if selected) – Fully priced including delivery.
- Survey – Cost for us to visit and carry out a full site survey.
- Installation – Sundries, fixings, trims and sealants to install the products.
- Installation – Labour shown as a separate charge so you can decide to have us fit them or fit them yourself (DIY).
- Installation Tool Kit Hire – Ideal if you want to install your products. yourself and you don’t have the specialist tools needed.
- VAT will be included so there are no hidden charges.
We reckon it will take 25 – 35 minutes to do a full house quote for a 4 bed house (a lot shorter than a double glazing company would take!). Plus there is absolutely no pressure! Do your quote in your time, your way.
