UPVC Doors
UPVC Doors are perfectly suited to front doors, back doors or side garage doors. Our Wood effect UPVC doors also have many styling aspects of traditional wooden doors but without the need for maintenance.
Our UPVC Doors are very secure and come with a high-security lock as standard.
Aluminium Doors
Aluminium doors have moved on from needing a hardwood surround, they are now very stylish and come thermally broken as standard. People tend to choose aluminium doors for slimmer frame detail and perceived additional security with the notion that a metal must be stronger than a UPVC.
Our aluminium doors are available in a wide choice of colours and styles.

Wooden Doors
Wooden doors have a timeless classic appeal and are ideal suited to period properties or properties that fall under certain planning restraints.
Wooden doors are available in a wide variety of styles and colours. Our advisors can help you choose the perfect wooden door for your property.
As all coloured wooden doors are painted, there is a vast range of colour options available and you can match popular paint brands such as Farrow and Ball colours or any standard RAL colour.

Types of Replacement Doors available

Front Doors
Are available in standard UPVC with a choice of colours, or a composite style with either a foam core or a premium solid timber core. Aluminium is a choice also for front doors for that ultra modern look and if you are looking for a classic look for a period property then a wooden / timber door is a choice many people take.
Back Doors and Side Doors
UPVC doors are the doors of choice for back doors or side doors but you can choose either UPVC Doors, Composite doors, Aluminium or Wooden doors.
People tend to make the choice based on cost, UPVC is the most cost effective, while Wooden doors tend to be the most expensive. Composite and Aluminium doors fall in between the two cost brackets.
Our advisors are available to guide you through the wide range of choices available.

Sliding Patio Doors and French Doors
Sliding patio doors are available in UPVC, Aluminium and Wooden doors. If it is a large set of sliding doors then Aluminium is the best choice but UPVC Sliding patio doors are also available in a wide format.
French doors tend to be UPVC but again are available in your choice of material.
Aluminium Bifolding Doors
Bifolding doors tend to be wide format and for that reason we tend to specify Aluminum only as UPVC wide format bifolding doors can sometimes prove to be problematic. We are here to give you the best advice for your Bifolding door solution and that may prove to be different to some other suppliers.
Bifolding doors open up a whole new world of panoramic views out into the garden and beyond, we want you to enjoy them for many years to come.

UPVC Door Jointing Methods

Standard Welded Corners
Standard UPVC welded corners are common on UPVC replacement doors, the welds are formed by the extrusion (plastic) being heated and then the mitred corners are pushed together in a machine.
Welded corners are normally reliable, although some people find them unsightly, they can be machined to leave a neat grove.
Coloured doors are a bit more difficult to present in a neat way as the external coloured foil is applied to the plastic before it is welded. This tends to bubble up and a raised section is always left behind which needs to be trimmed and coloured.
Timber Style UPVC Corner Joints
Timber style UPVC joints (mechanical joints) are now becoming more reliable. In the early days of replacement door manufacturing the mechanical joints proved to be a proble as the joints would open up over time. Hence the original evolution to a welded corners became common.
As time has passed, consumers are demanding a more aesthetically pleasing solution, forcing manufacturers to engineer the timber style joint and move away from welded corners.
Timber style joints are now an added value option for UPVC replacement doors.
